Manager, Event Marketing
Role
Fidelity Charitable® is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Event Marketing, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a strong event marketing and project management background. This role will manage and execute marketing sponsorships, virtual events, proprietary events, and speaking engagements, from planning and coordination to post-event reporting. The Manager, Event Marketing, will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our marketing events and contributing to our organization's growth.
Expertise and Skills you Bring
Manage project timelines, tasks, and resources for marketing events, ensuring events are executed on time and within budget. Develop and maintain comprehensive event schedules, including pre-event, on-site, and post-event activities.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
Support the management of a portfolio of events from inception through execution as needed.
Manage logistical aspects of in-person marketing events, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and collateral materials.
Be responsible for event budgets and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Manage the planning and support of Fidelity Charitable virtual events across audience segments to ensure high-quality technical delivery.
Implement lead tracking system to capture, manage, and nurture leads generated from events; collaborate with distribution and marketing teams to ensure follow-up and conversion of event-generated leads.
Collect and analyze data from marketing events to assess their success and gather insights for future improvements.
Build post-event reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, business, marketing, or related field
Minimum of 3+ years of experience directly working on event marketing and/or event marketing project management
Knowledge of event and event marketing best practices, including contracting, analytics, event technology platforms, and digital marketing
Experience with a variety of event mediums (sponsorships, virtual, and in-person)
Proficiency with Adobe Workfront (or similar project management tools), Salesforce, and Tableau
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality events
Willingness to travel domestically <10% of the time for on-site event support
